Thanksgiving: It's Beach Time!
This year for Thanksgiving we did things a little....differently. For Thanksgiving we enjoyed a great family meal with my best friend Sarah, her husband, Steve, and all of Sarah's family. It was a lot of fun. Then after the Thanksgiving feast were on the road headed for the coast. This was our first family trip and I have to say it was pretty close to perfect. It has been a long time since I've been back there and to be honest the second I could smell the ocean air--my first thoughts were all the memories I had going there, made me miss my Granddaddy. But...here is just a little bit of all the fun we crammed into 3 days.
While were at the coast we made a quick trip to Corpus Christi and went to the Texas State Aquarium, I loved getting to see all of the dolphins. And then it was family beach time with my lil man and big man. Easton was afraid of the water....but loved the sand, hopefully we can get over this fear of the ocean before too long.
First, Aaron got to enjoy a fishing trip out in the ocean with my Uncle Jerry--they did pretty well, brought back A LOT of red snapper!
The next day it was time to hit the beach!!!!! I went to the little island with Memaw to comb the beach for seashells...it was alot of fun, and while we were there we got to see a cow enjoying the beach sand as well, haha. Yes! A COW!

Eventually our trip did have to come to end....but we will go back! Wish I could move there!!
